Get your Detroit Tigers tickets soon.
If you’re looking to watch them take on the Chicago Cubs at Comerica Park this weekend, you better hurry.
Both first-place teams are setting up for a heavyweight three-game matchup from Friday, June 6, through Sunday, June 8, in Detroit. The Tigers have MLB’s best record at 40-21, while the Cubs sit atop the National League Central with a 37-22 record entering play Tuesday, June 3.
It’s a rare cross-league matchup between two first-place teams, and tickets look to be selling fast as a result.
Buy Tigers tickets on StubHub
Tickets for all three games are listed as “high demand” on StubHub, indicating that seats may be selling faster than usual. The cheapest ticket for Friday’s game is an upper-deck seat by the left-field foul pole, listed at $49 as of Tuesday afternoon.
That’s nearly twice as high as the price for the average Tigers ticket in 2024 ($27.58), according to Statista.
If you want a better view (and have $1,088 per ticket to spend), you can snag two seats behind home plate for Friday’s game.
Your cheapest option may be for Sunday’s game, however, where four tickets in the second-to-last row of the upper deck, section 216, along the first base line are selling for $46 each.
But compared to the series finale against the San Francisco Giants on Wednesday, May 28 — where tickets could be found for as low as $15 — the series against the Cubs might end up one of the best-attended regular-season series at Comerica Park for the Tigers in 2025.
