Michigan’s Adventure kicks off its 70th season Friday, May 22, as the amusement park opens ahead of Memorial Day weekend.
“We’ve created a season that blends beloved traditions with fresh energy throughout the entire park,” Michigan’s Adventure Park Presidents Carson Weingart said in a May 19 release. “As we celebrate 70 years of memories, we are also creating new experiences to delight the next generation of guests. Whether you’re a lifelong passholder or a first-time visitor, this is the perfect time to rediscover Michigan’s Adventure.”
Michigan’s Adventure Amusement Park opens at 10 a.m. Friday while the Wildwater Adventure Waterpark will follow on Saturday, June 13.
This season, fans may expect more live entertainment, expanded menus including Detroit-style pizza, extended summer hours, Funland Farm animal experiences and photo opportunities with Peanuts characters from Camp Snoopy.
The park is located north of Muskegon, 4750 Whitehall Road near Whiteball, offering more than 60 activities and seven roller coasters with the Corkscrew, Shivering Timbers, Thunderhawk and the Wolverine Wildcat being most thrilling.
For the Memorial Day weekend, May 23-25, military members, including National Guard members, retired or on active duty, will receive free entry and discounted tickets for family and friends, the park announced via Facebook on May 13.
Once it opens, the Wildwater Adventure Waterpark will offer several rides, as well as three wave pools and lazy river. Through the season, the water park’s availability may vary because it will not open if the temperature does not reach 65 degrees within two hours of the park opening.
Season passes and daily tickets are available online. Passes range from $65-$90, depending on discounts or add-ons/upgrades, and daily tickets start at $40-$55. The park also has a group admission option and a birthday package priced from $39-$58.
Michigan’s Adventure has new management for 2026; the park was sold by Six Flags to Enchanted Parks.
Guests who purchased anything through the previous ownership, Six Flags, are directed to its new frequently asked questions webpage for answers about park changes, ticket/pass transfers and dining plan refunds, or to contact the park.
