Here’s a sampling of what some are offering. Most places require reservations, which can be made through OpenTable.com. It’s also best to check hours; some might be adjusted for the holidays. Prices listed, unless noted, do not include tax, gratuity, alcohol or other beverages.
Aurora Italiana

Two seatings are available, each with its own 4-course menu, with choices of starter, pasta, main entrée and dessert. Primo seating is 4:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. and $95 per person. Its “Midnight Experience” is 9 p.m.-10:30 p.m., with live entertainment, complimentary champagne toast at midnight, party favors and more.

There are two seating options available, with a 4-course menu option. Primo seating is from 4:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. and $95 per person. The “Midnight Experience” is 9 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. and $150 per person. Along with the 4-course dinner, there’s live entertainment and a DJ, a complimentary champagne toast at midnight, party favors and more. Its “Family Affair” offering starts at 8 p.m. and is $49 for ages 4-12 and $95 for ages 13 and up. There’s live DJ music, a magician and face painting. The menu features appetizers, sides and choices of main dishes, including a 4-ounce filet with zip sauce.

Steps from Little Caesars Arena, Basan is on the ground floor of the historic Eddystone. On New Year’s Eve, they’ll offer a six-course tasting menu featuring savory and sweet options. It’s $94 per person. Cocktail and beverage at additional cost. Champagne toast at midnight.

Beverly Hills Grill
Beverly Hills
Transforming into a candlelit celebration with a 5-course menu from starter to dessert. Menu choices include short rib crostini with creamy Boursin cheese, veal scallopini, filet and shrimp with caramelized onion Boursin sauce, and pan-roasted branzino with apple brown butter. Seatings at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. are $100 per person. The 10 p.m. seating is $110 and includes a bottle of Veuve Clicquot.

Blake’s Tasting Room

Strolling buffet New Year’s Eve dinner with chef-crafted small plate options plus festive and seasonal favorites. There’s also a prime rib, pasta, salad station, plus sides, soup and desserts. Blake’s Orchard House or its premium wines and Blake’s Honey Bubbly are available for purchase.
Buffet is $45.95 per person and served 3-9 p.m.

New Year’s Eve dinner includes a special menu of seasonal favorites, including an apple chutney cheese bread appetizer, creamy chicken pasta and lemon garlic pasta. Prices vary. Champagne and Blake’s Honey Bubbly is also available for purchase.

Chef Garrett Lipar and team offer a 5-course tasting menu. On the menu are seasonal offerings, such as lobster and carrots and agnolotti with rutabaga and wagyu beef. It’s $150 per person.
A tasting menu for children 12 and under is $30.

Gillys Clubhouse
New Year’s Eve features two DJ entertainment across three floors. There will also be a midnight champagne toast. Gilly’s is also open on New Year’s Day for the College Football Quarterfinals.

In Corktown, New Year’s Eve events begin in the Godfrey’s ballroom with Gatsby’s Grand Affair from 6–9 p.m. The event, $150 per person, is 1920s-themed and features a cocktail hour with hors d’oeuvres, followed by a 3-course plated dinner. Throughout the evening, there will be aerialists, showgirl dancers, fire performers, dancing and champagne throughout the night.
Dinner only is served at Hamilton’s, with a special five-course prix fixe menu, plus its regular menu.
Up top at the I|O Godfrey, with stunning views of the city is a massive balloon drop and complimentary champagne toast, plus appetizers, strolling caviar service and live entertainment. Tickets are $100 to $150 per person.

A Midtown mainstay, Grey Ghost offers a 5-course prix fixe dinner. Seatings in the main dining room or veranda are at 10:15 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. You can reserve seating in the main dining room or veranda. It’s $130 per person plus tax and includes a champagne toast at midnight. Bar seating is $130 per person for five courses and start at 4 p.m.

Latitudes Restaurant and Bar
Wyandotte
On the water in the downriver community of Wyandotte, Latitudes has beautiful views of the Detroit River and downtown Detroit. Its New Year’s Eve event features live performances and a DJ all night in the restaurant’s banquet room. There’s a dinner buffet that includes carving stations, raw bar, sushi, pasta, plus an open top-shelf bar, late-night snacks, champagne toast, party favors and more. It’s $90 per person with the buffet served from 7:30 p.m.-9 p.m.

This newly opened restaurant and butcher shop at Eastern Market prix fixe, 4-course New Year’s Eve menu is $130 per person. Wine labels will be covered, and guests will drink from black wine glasses in an effort to guess wine varietals and country of origin.
