The Detroit Lions used Tuesday morning’s practice session as a scrimmage to keep the starters sharp ahead of Thursday’s exhibition matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers, in which none of the starters are expected to play. Unfortunately, one of the Lions key young defensive starters left the practice early with an injury.
Starting outside cornerback Terrion Arnold left the field with trainers after pulling up with a hamstring injury. The Lions confirmed that it was a hamstring for the 2024 first-round pick, who was coming off a fantastic practice session on Monday.
Starting safety Kerby Joseph remains sidelined with what head coach Dan Campbell called a minor knee issue. Slot corner Amik Robertson, who often slides outside in packages, has also missed both days of practice this week.
