Popular Big Ten podcast predicts score for MSU-UCLA game this week

A pair of hosts from a popular Big Ten podcast like the Spartans to take care of business this week against UCLA.

Jon “JR” Rhoades and Mike Broadbent provided their weekly picks on the The Big Ten Huddle podcast and they both like Michigan State to pick up the win. Rhoades has the Spartans winning by double-digits with a predicted final score of 35-24 in favor of Michigan State, while Broadbent has it a bit closer with Michigan State winning by the final score of 31-23.

At the time of this post, Michigan State is listed as a 9 1/2-point favorite over UCLA. So both Rhoades and Broadbent are predicting a final score close to that betting line.

Michigan State comes into this game looking to break out of a funk after losing back-to-back conference road games. The Spartans are now 3-2 overall and 0-2 in Big Ten play.

UCLA shocked the college football world with an upset of Penn State last week for its first win of the season. The Bruins will now look to make it two straight upsets this week at Michigan State.
