Here is a look at the latest individuals in the running to be voted the LSJ girls high school athlete of the week winner.

Leighton Marlan, Lansing Catholic volleyball
The junior helped the Cougars remain unbeaten with a key CAAC White win over Eaton Rapids in five sets. She had 26 assists, nine digs and three aces while helping the Cougars improve to 13-0-1.
Mackenzie O’Brien, Williamston swimming
The freshman contributed to the Hornets earning a win against Ionia on Sept. 18 by taking first in the 200 free with a time of 1:58.25 and the 500 free with a time of 5:33.83. O’Brien also swam legs on Williamston’s winning 200 and 400 freestyle relays.
Lila Redder, Ionia girls golf
The junior finished as the medalist at the Lakewood Invite while helping the Bulldogs finish as the team runner-up on Friday, Sept. 19. Redder had a round of 82
