A project impacting Old US-23 between M-59 and Crouse Road in Hartland Township will begin June 1, according to a release from the Livingston County Road Commission.
The project is expected to last roughly two weeks, finishing up June 17, weather permitting. The road will be closed to thru-traffic with local access maintained from the north project limits, according to LCRC.
LCRC is responsible for maintaining 1,335 miles of public roads and receives funding through Act 51. The department has numerous road projects planned for 2026, based on a comprehensive analysis of the road system — including condition ratings, crash and safety history, and municipal input.
