MSU football reportedly making good impression on in-state 4-star WR prospect

A big-time in-state prospect in the 2028 class reportedly “likes” what Michigan State has to offer.

Michigan State football is making a positive impression on key in-state wide receiver prospect Mylan Griggs, according to a recent report from Tom Loy of 247Sports. Loy did a recruiting update story on Griggs earlier this week where a key takeaway was Griggs being impressed by what Michigan State has to offer.

Griggs is listed as a four-star prospect, with a recruiting rating of 89.97 in 247Sports’ composite system. He ranks as the No. 45 wide receiver and No. 7 player from Michigan in the 2028 class. He is also listed as the No. 299 overall prospect in the class.

Michigan State extended an offer to Griggs last June, and is one of nearly 40 schools to offer him, according to 247Sports. He also holds notable offers from Arizona State, California, Illinois, Kentucky, Kansas, Michigan, Maryland, Miami (FL), Louisville, Missouri, Nebraska, Pitt, Texas A&M, Purdue, UCLA, Virginia Tech, Wisconsin and USC.
