Michigan State baseball has released the official schedule for the 2026 season, Jake Boss Jr.’s 18th at the helm of the Spartans program.
This is a pivotal year in the Boss tenure, with his seat getting about as hot as it can get, and needing to make the NCAA Tournament. The Spartans have positioned themselves with a schedule that allows themselves the best possible opportunity to make a run at a tourney berth.
The Spartans will be making a road trip to Louisville to open the season, followed by a road trip to Texas, giving the Spartans two high profile matchups to open the season. Aside from Big Ten play, the Spartans will play high profile matchups with Clemson, Notre Dame (twice) and James Madison.
It is a make it or break it year for the Spartans and Boss, and it is going to be an entertaining slate, for sure.
