Michigan State hockey is going to be entering into Adam Nightingale’s fourth season at the helm of the program in East Lansing, a program that he has built into one of the nation’s best.
Heading into the fourth season, expectations are high for the Spartans, who ended last season in very difficult fashion. To live up to the standard, the Spartans are going to have to rely on the leadership of their captains. Those captains were announced via the team’s X page.
Matt Basgall will be wearing the captain’s ‘C’ next year, getting the highest leadership honor the team can give. The assistant captains for the team will be Charlie Stramel, Tiernan Shoudy and Patrick Geary, who will don the ‘A’.
Michigan State will be reporting for the official start of practice in the near future.
