Throughout his recruitment, Michigan football appeared to be heavily interested in Dabney, but suddenly, he committed to SMU, and he appeared to be heading down a different path. However, two weeks after he made an official visit (secretly) to Ann Arbor, he ended up flipping to the maize and blue.
