Michigan football went one awful, long day without getting a commitment, but that national nightmare has officially come to a close with 2027 Riverside (Calif.) Notre Dame four-star cornerback Darius Johnson pledging to the class — the fifth commitment in six days.
As a result, the Wolverines are moving up the team rankings.

Rivals also has Michigan at 11th after being 12th in the previous ranking.

There’s no obvious commits coming in the next few days, but the Wolverines are in good standing for 2027 Chicago (Ill.) Mount Carmel four-star safety Tavares Harrington, who makes his pledge to his school of choice on May 22.
