A lucky slots player at MGM Grand Detroit hit a jackpot of $1,063,739 last week, the casino announced on Friday.
The player, who was not identified, won on the $1 million high-limit progressive jackpot Dragon Link slot machine on Sunday, according to a new release from the casino.
MGM Grand Detroit was the first commercial casino in Michigan to introduce the Dragon Link slot machine in July 2024.
This win adds to $114,186,227 in jackpots given out at MGM Grand Detroit in 2026 and the more than $16,658,754 given out in June 2026, casino officials said. MGM Grand didn’t close how much gambling revenue it had taken in.
Year to date, the win is the largest jackpot won at MGM Grand Detroit in 2026, officials said.
