The Michigan Department of Education released results for the Michigan Student Test of Educational Progress (M-STEP) on Wednesday, Aug. 27. Students took the test in the spring of 2025. Check the M-STEP scores from your school district using the databases by subject below.
Students in grades 3-7 take the M-STEP test in English Language Arts (ELA) and math.
Students in grades 5 and 8 take the M-STEP test in science and social studies.
