Too tired to cook a traditional Thanksgiving dinner this year?
That’s OK. Several Greater Lansing restaurants are willing to do the cooking, serving and running back and forth between the kitchen and dinner table. A few will even host a holiday buffet.

Here are some restaurants serving traditional Thanksgiving meals in Greater Lansing.
Bob Evans will be open for dine-in meals
Bob Evans restaurants, including locations in Lansing and DeWitt, and Delta Township, will be open on Thanksgiving Day from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., serving a select Thanksgiving menu.
Bravo! plans traditional Thanksgiving menu
Bravo! will offer dine-in holiday meals on Thanksgiving Day. The in-house menu will feature a traditional Thanksgiving meal with turkey and a variety of sides. Visit the Bravo! Italian Kitchen website for more information.
Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant has turkey and fixings
Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant will feature turkey, stuffing, butternut squash soup, potatoes, green beans, carrots, cranberry sauce and a pumpkin praline cheesecake. Prices are $36.99 per adult and $15.99 for children 12 and under. Booking a table is recommended.
Cracker Barrel plans regular business hours
Cracker Barrel will maintain regular hours while serving Thanksgiving Day meals. Traditional holiday items will be available at 11 a.m. Visit the Cracker Barrel website to view holiday meal options.
Capital Prime to offer buffet on Thanksgiving
Capital Prime will offer a buffet of holiday food noon to 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. Visit Capital Prime’s website to view the full menu which includes options such as turkey, salmon, sweet potatoes, green beans, stuffing and more. Prices are $65 for adults and $26 for children 5 to 12 years of age. Reservations can only be made over the phone by calling 517-37PRIME (or 517-377-7463).
Gravity Smokehouse will open for buffet
Gravity Smokehouse in Delhi Township is hosting an 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thanksgiving buffet with turkey, ham and roast beef, salad and sides and a dessert bar. Prices are $30 for adults, $20 for seniors and $15 for 5- to 12-year-olds. To make a recommended reservation, call 517-258-4900.
Mitchell’s Fish Market plans traditional dinner
Mitchell’s Fish Market will serve a three-course traditional holiday dinner of soup or salad, a plate of turkey with sides and dessert for adults. The price is $49 per person. The restaurant will offer a smaller, $21 version for children 12 and under.
Free Thanksgiving meals in the Lansing area
Blondie’s Barn
Blondie’s Barn in Haslett will be offering free Thanksgiving meals on Thanksgiving Day from noon to 2 p.m. Watch for more details on their Facebook page and website.
Catholic Charities
Catholic Charities of Ingham, Eaton & Clinton Counties (CCIEC) — Cristo Rey Campus, 1717. N High St., Lansing — Lansing’s CCIEC – Cristo Rey Campus will be hosting a free Thanksgiving meal on Thanksgiving Day from noon to 2 p.m.
