Following a 41-34 loss at the Los Angeles Rams in Week 15, the Detroit Lions’ path to the playoffs seems pretty simple. Win out and overtake either the Green Bay Packers or Chicago Bears in the NFC North standings to capture a Wild Card berth.
There is also a scenario where the Lions could get into the playoffs by winning out and seeing either the Seattle Seahawks or San Francisco 49ers lose out across their final three games, but that’s more of a long-shot scenario.
Naturally, Detroit (8-6) needs as many hands on deck as possible for this stretch run in order to give themselves a chance at returning to the postseason. The Lions conducted a walkthrough on Wednesday, meaning that practice participation designations for Wednesday are estimations.
But, here’s a look at the Lions’ Wednesday practice report ahead of Detroit’s Week 16 showdown versus the Pittsburgh Steelers (8-6).
