Lions go 0-for-5 on 4th down vs Eagles, Dan Campbell's decisions 'jaw dropping,' fans say

The Detroit Lions are looking shakier than they have all season. At least that’s how fans are reacting on social media.

The Lions lost 16-9 to the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, Nov. 16, with a defense that looked elite and an offense that couldn’t move the ball at all on most drives.

A big storyline coming out of the game was coach Dan Campbell, calling plays on offense for his second game this season, going for controversial fourth-down attempts instead of punting or kicking field goals for needed points. The Lions went 0-for-5 on those fourth down attempts, the most backbreaking failure coming on the Eagles 3-yard line in the second half.

Here’s how Lions experts and fans reacted to the team’s performance on social media.
