Rapper Lil Wayne will make his way to Little Caesars Arena on Aug. 23 for his biggest Detroit headlining show in years.
The LCA show will be a midway stop on his 34-city tour supporting his forthcoming record “Tha Carter VI,” with a set list celebrating that two-decade album series. Tyga and Belly Gang Kushington will open all dates on the tour, which was announced Tuesday morning.
Tickets for Lil Wayne’s Detroit concert and other tour stops will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday through Ticketmaster, following various presale windows that start Wednesday. Details are here.
The summer tour will kick off June 6 at Madison Square Garden — Lil Wayne’s first-ever headlining show at the iconic New York arena — and wind across North America before wrapping up Oct. 2 in West Palm Beach, Florida.
