Journey to sing 'Don't Stop Believin'' for final time in Detroit?

It might be the last chance to scream “born and raised in south Detroit,” at least with the members of Journey in the same room.

Journey will perform “Don’t Stop Believin'” and the rest of the band’s hits at Little Caesars Arena on Nov. 2, venue officials announced Tuesday.

Tickets for the show go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday via Ticketmaster. A presale for Citi members is currently running.

The show is part of a 40-date extension of the band’s Final Frontier tour. The tour — which may or may not mark be the end of the band’s live touring days, but it definitely has the word “Final” baked into its title — kicked off in February in Hershey, Pennsylvania, and was due to wrap July 2 in Laredo, Texas; the new dates begin Sept. 12 and Los Angeles and are scheduled to close out Nov. 28 in San Francisco.

The group is also slated to play June 14 at Grand Rapids’ Van Andel Arena.

The band’s last area concert was in July 2024 at Comerica Park.
