PETOSKEY — Construction is continuing on pace on Howard Street.
According to an update from city manager Shane Horn at the Petoskey City Council’s Aug. 6 meeting, work is currently taking place on the stretch from Fulton to Washington streets.
“All sanitary sewer main has been completed,” he said. “Water main replacement and services will be complete (Friday, Aug. 7). Storm sewer replacement will start (this week). And then we’ll have the last stretch from Washington to Jennings to complete.”
Work on that last stretch will begin once the prior section is deemed substantially complete.
“We’re still anticipating project completion in early October, which would wrap up that stretch of Howard Street,” Horn said.
