This week’s students were recognized for caring for others, academic excellence, artistic talent, kindness and more.

Garrison Gardiner, West Ottawa High School

Garrison has gone above and beyond fulfilling his duties as a LINK. The students love him. He’s patient, intentional, and truly values the students he’s working with. You can tell he genuinely cares for them and is such a kind, mature young man. He’s truly a special individual.

Tabby Brown, Holland High School

Tabby is an outstanding student-athlete and leader who consistently demonstrates positivity, dedication and kindness in everything she does. She excels academically while challenging herself with AP coursework and staying actively involved in programs like PALs and Future Educators.

A dedicated multi-sport athlete, Tabby participates in both soccer and volleyball and serves as captain of the soccer team. She leads by example through her hard work, encouragement of others and strong sportsmanship.

Beyond her accomplishments, Tabby is known for being thoughtful, inclusive and welcoming to everyone around her. Her positive attitude, leadership and genuine care for others make her an excellent role model at Holland High School.

After graduation, Tabby plans to attend Hope College to study elementary education. We’re excited to see the positive impact Tabby continues to make in the lives of others!

Virchow Dai, Holland Christian High School

Virchow is a bright, kind and driven student. He consistently puts great effort into his schoolwork and art projects. He’s taken numerous AP courses and is involved with the Holland/Zeeland Community Foundation. He’s currently designing a mobile sculpture for the cafeteria, and his artwork was awarded third place in the Holland Area Arts Council Debut 2026.
