HARTLAND TWP. — The president of the Hartland Consolidated Schools Board of Education is resigning in June.
Meghan Glabach is resigning June 20, according to a letter from Vice President Kristin Coleman.
Glabach and her family “have been offered an opportunity taking them out-of-state,” Coleman wrote.
HCS is looking for candidates to fill Glabach’s seat. Interested parties must submit a letter of interest and supporting documents to Coleman at 9525 E. Highland Road, Howell, MI 48843, by Monday, June 2.
The appointed candidate will fill the seat until the next general election in November 2026.
Coleman wrote Glabach “has been a valued member of the Hartland School Board for three years” and thanked her for her service to the district.
“Her administrative and business background and involvement in the district as a volunteer parent has been influential in the development of the positive culture in Hartland Schools,” Coleman wrote.
Glabach was appointed to the board in February 2022 and elected to a six-year term that November. She served as board treasurer for one year and as president since July 2023.
