“Livingston In Photos,” a series shot by reporter Makayla Coffee, highlights the extra-ordinary happenings of your neighbors.
PINCKNEY — Coffee is once again being served at 153 E. Main St. in Pinckney, though under a new name.
For this week’s Livingston in Photos, I visited Hazy Shores Coffee Co. — which operates in the former Earth’s Energy Coffee and Tea.
The quaint shop is run by cousins Kelly Carling and Nora Findlay with husbands Brandon Carling and Adam Findlay. Customers will find indoor seating and a small outdoor section behind the building.
The menu includes cappuccinos, lattes, cold brew and other coffees — along with chai, tea, lemonade, hot chocolate, chocolate milk and matcha.
There’s also various foodstuffs, including egg bites, bagels, breakfast sandwiches and pastries. The shop’s almond and oat milk are made fresh daily, thanks to a special machine and packages from Numilk.
Kelly is happy to work with friends and family, she told The Daily, but was also excited to open a business that offers a community space in Pinckney.
Hazy Shores is open 6:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesdays-Fridays and 7 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturdays, as well as during downtown events. Learn more on Facebook at under “Hazy Shores Coffee Co.”
