Here is a look at the best from the middle week of the high school football regular season in Greater Lansing.
PERFORMANCE OF THE WEEK
GRIFFIN LONG, MORRICE: The junior had an all-around performance while contributing to the Orioles recording a 54-32 league win over Fulton. He completed 9-of-16 passes for 204 yards and a touchdown, had 22 carries for 229 yards and five touchdowns and added 10 tackles and two interceptions on defense.
TEAM OF THE WEEK
WILLIAMSTON: The Hornets dominated a matchup of area unbeatens, improving to 5-0 with their 43-0 victory over St. Johns in a key CAAC Red game. The shutout was the third straight for Williamston, which has outscored its opponents 106-0 over the past three weeks. The Hornets, who have already surpassed their 2024 win total, scored on their first five drives and forced three turnovers.
