CHARLOTTE — Eaton County prosecutors have charged a 31-year-old man with murder in connection with the killing of a 53-year-old man found dead over the weekend in Lansing.
Lansing police were dispatched to the 3900 block of Burneway Drive around 10:50 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 9, for a medical call and found Vincent Beeman inside a home, police previously said.
The Lansing Police Department said this week that it was still investigating the exact cause of death and hasn’t released details on how Beeman died.
On Wednesday, Feb. 11, Aaron Paul Mousseau was charged with one count of open murder and had a cash or surety bond set at $3 million, according to online court records. He did not have an attorney listed in online court records.
Mousseau faces up to life in prison if convicted.
Burneway Drive is located off South Waverly Road, between West Holmes and West Jolly roads, near the border between Ingham and Eaton counties.
