DTE outage leaves nearly 1,800 Monroe customers dark

DTE’s outage map is reporting 1,793 customers are without power in the Monroe area as of Tuesday afternoon.

According to a DTE spokesperson, the outage was caused by a malfunction on a powerline that DTE joint owns with ITC Holdings. Teams from both companies are working to repair it.
