DTE’s outage map is reporting 1,793 customers are without power in the Monroe area as of Tuesday afternoon.
According to a DTE spokesperson, the outage was caused by a malfunction on a powerline that DTE joint owns with ITC Holdings. Teams from both companies are working to repair it.
According to DTE’s outage map, power should be restored by 7:10 p.m.
