Fish fries and Lenten specials to check out in Michigan

Busch’s Fresh Food Market: Get fish fry specials at the deli counter at Busch’s, including pub-style cod dinners with coleslaw, potato wedges and sweet corn hushpuppies, plus cod sandwiches, house-made tartar sauce, a tuna seashell macaroni salad and other seafood specials. Haney’s Family Restaurant: Powered by Rising Stars Academy, Haney’s will offer a Friday fish fry through Lent. AOH Stephen Walsh Division: These ongoing Friday fish fries are all-you-can-eat fish dinners for $15 with baked cod, fried cod, soup, salad, coleslaw, fries, macaroni and cheese and dessert. Cold Hearted IPA returns: Due to customer demand, Bell’s Brewery is releasing Cold Hearted IPA year round. Find it in 12-ounce can six-packs, on draft or inside the Hearted IPA Variety Pack and the Bell’s Variety Pack. Shamrock Shake is back and helps local kids: Customers can get the Shamrock Shake or Oreo Shamrock McFlurry at area McDonald’s locations starting this week. Twenty-five cents from each drink will be donated to Ronald McDonald House charities in Detroit and Ann Arbor. Last year more than $116,000 was raised from sales for the local chapters.
