Cheboygan’s Nataleigh Blaisdell was voted by readers as the Cheboygan Daily Tribune’s 2026 high school softball area player of the year.
Blaisdell won the poll by capturing 36.27 percent of the vote, while Inland Lakes’ Taylor Nutt was second at 28.97 percent and Onaway’s Natalee Hyde took third at 17.3 percent.
The poll opened on Monday, June 15, and closed on Thursday night, June 18.
