Holly Park in Lansing is a natural escape right in the heart of the Colonial Village neighborhood, blending open spaces with thick woods that draw families, walkers and wildlife alike.
Located at 1828 S. Holly Way, north of West Holmes Road and east of Pleasant Grove Road on the city’s south side, the 1-acre neighborhood park is tucked in an open area surrounded by thick woods. It’s perfect for a leisurely stroll or a quiet moment on one of the benches.
Venture off into the various trails through the woods where patrons can explore nature and where deer, wild turkeys, birds and other small mammals call home.
Families with children will appreciate the playground. Whether you’re seeking a spot for picnics at the tables, birdwatching or just unwinding in the open field, Holly Park delivers a city oasis that’s small in size, but big on charm.
There’s street parking available and there are no bathrooms on site. Leashed dogs are welcome.
