The six semifinalists on this season’s “Dancing with the Stars” will take on iconic Prince songs while competing for the Mirrorball trophy.
Prince Night airs at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, on ABC. Fans may stream it live on Disney+ on the ABC network. For the semifinals, six pairs will each dance to two songs of the legendary, “genre defying,” singer-songwriter Prince, a 2004 Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame inductee.
This week there won’t be a guest judge; the stars will be judged by the original panel as they try to win a spot in the finale airing Tuesday, Nov. 25.
DWTS posted the Prince-centered set list and dance routines on its Instagram, including, “Purple Rain,” “When Doves Cry,” “I Would Die 4 U,” “Little Red Corvette,” “I Wanna Be Your Lover.”
Last week, the stars celebrated DWTS’s 20th birthday with former pro dancers and season champions joining the stars on the dance floor. In addition, former host Tom Bergeron, who led the show for 28 seasons, returned as a guest judge. The show parted ways with actor and comedian Andy Richter and dancing pro Emma Slater.
After Prince Night, there will be one episode left with one pair receiving the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy, named for the longtime judge who passed away.
