We’re heading into the last few weeks of summer, but there’s still plenty of fun to be had in Northern Michigan.
Here’s what we recommend this week:
Join the Storywalk
The Charlevoix Public Library and the Little Traverse Conservancy are partnering on a Storywalk event at Enji-minozhiiyaamigak: The Place of Peacefulness Nature Preserve.
The self-led Storywalk will be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 19. Participants will read “The Legend of the Petoskey Stone” by Kathy-jo Wargin, have a snack and try to find their own Petoskey stones.
