Two men died and one was wounded in a shooting at a Southfield restaurant overnight.
Southfield police responded to a call about a shooting at Hidden Gems Restaurant, located at 16000 West Nine Mile Road, across the street from Henry Ford Providence Southfield Hospital, at about 3:33 a.m. Sunday morning, long after the restaurant’s closing time of 11:30 p.m.
Police arrived to find one man dead of gunshot wounds. Two other men who had been shot drove themselves to a hospital, but one man with multiple gunshot wounds died at the hospital. The other man suffered graze wounds and was released.
So far, police have revealed few other details, but note that there is not an ongoing threat to the public.
