Someone won more than $1.6 million after recently buying a ticket at a Wayne County convenience store.
Lottery officials said the lucky player matched all six numbers in Saturday’s Lotto 47 game drawing: 05, 16, 17, 34, 36 and 44.
As of Monday, the winner has yet to claim their $1.67 million prize. The winning ticket was purchased from the New Boston Fuel Stop, 37330 Huron River Road, in New Boston.
The winner is urged to contact the Michigan Lottery Players Relations division at (844) 917-6325 to set up an appointment to claim their jackpot prize. The ticket is valid for one year, officials said.
Saturday’s win was the fourth Lotto 47 jackpot this year. The last one came in March, when a player won $1.1 million with a ticket purchased at a supermarket in Kawkawlin Township, which is just north of Bay City.
Each Lotto 47 play is $1. Players select six numbers, ranging from 1 to 47. Prizes range from $5 for matching three numbers up to $1 million or more for hitting all six numbers. Drawings take place each Wednesday and Saturday at 7:29 p.m.
Odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in about 10.7 million.
