Port Huron, MI – Lake Huron Medical Center is pleased to welcome Dr. Shiva Damodaran, MD to our Lake Huron Specialty Center of Excellence effective October 9th, 2023.
With an impressive background in Urology, Dr. Damodaran brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our hospital. Graduating and completing a Urology Residency from Madras Medical College, India. Additionally, he completed a Urologic Oncology Fellowship program at University of Wisconsin and Urology Residency at University of Toledo, Ohio. Throughout his career, Dr. Damodaran has demonstrated a passion for patient care, innovation, and continuous professional development.
Dr. Damodaran’s areas of expertise include endourology, urologic oncology, robotic surgery and reconstructive urology, making him an invaluable addition to our medical team. He has been published extensively in peer review journals.
In addition to his exceptional medical skills, Dr. Damodaran is known for his compassionate and patient-centered approach. He believes in building strong relationships with his patients, taking the time to listen, understand their concerns, and develop personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs. He regularly partners with referring physicians to provide the best possible care for his patients.
