Port Huron, MI – Lake Huron Medical Center (LHMC) is pleased to announce its January 2025 Employee of the Month, Greg O’Connor. LHMC is honored to have a strong team of staff and volunteers working hard to deliver high-quality care to the Blue Water Area and beyond.
Greg works as a Plant Engineer in the Plant Maintenance Department and has been a valued employee at LHMC for almost three years. Greg was nominated by two separate co-workers. One who stated “Greg constantly strives to accomplish work orders and requests to the best of his ability. He usually goes out of his way to help folks in their time of need, driving to different sites to ensure he has the correct information for the job, etc. His “can-do” attitude is appreciated more than I can convey. He is always willing to tackle any work.” And the other stated “Greg is always going above and beyond to make sure everyone is happy and taken care of. Whenever we request anything from the maintenance team, he shows up with a smile and gets the job done the right way. He is nice to everyone he encounters and is a good example of the friendly and helpfulness we want at LHMC.”.
