Port Huron, MI – Lake Huron Medical Center (LHMC) is proud to recognize Trevor Winnie, Physical Therapy Assistant, as its Fourth Quarter WOW Employee of the Month.
Trevor joined Lake Huron Medical Center on June 12, 2023, and has quickly become a valued member of the Physical Therapy team. He was nominated by a patient who shared how Trevor’s compassion, patience, and dedication played a meaningful role in their recovery.
The patient wrote: “Trevor is a very patient and conscientious person. He took the time to explain each exercise and made sure I was doing the exercises correctly. He helped me make great improvement following my TLK surgery. I was concerned about walking outside with my cane, and Trevor took the time to walk with me around the hospital campus”.
This nomination highlights Trevor’s commitment to individualized patient care, clear communication, and encouragement – qualities that help patients feel confident, supported, and empowered throughout their healing process.
