Dress sale at The Closet to benefit children's charity A Beautiful Me

The Closet by A Beautiful Me is hosting its second annual $5 and $10 dress sale, listing items as much as 90% off to raise money for charity.

The sale will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 12 at 235 Huron Ave., Port Huron. Dresses will be for sale for $5 to $10 in preparation for the upcoming prom season.

“(One hundred percent) of every sale supports the mission and programs of A Beautiful Me,” Closet Retail Manager LoriAnn Vought said in a news release. “You save money and you do good.”

Karen Palka, founder and director of A Beautiful Me, said the sale will apply to hundreds of select dresses not previously available at the store.

A Beautiful Me is a Port Huron-based non-profit organization that works to build self worth in girls, with programs open for girls from third to 12th grade.
