Susan Price is a National Gold Star Mother and Citizens Journalist, Researcher, Writer and Speaker. Susan resides on the West Coast of Florida and is the daughter of a Marine and is an Army Veteran.
Susan is the Mother of Fallen American Hero, Marine Gunnery Sgt. Aaron M. Kenefick, a highly decorated and stellar Marine of over twelve years and forever tied to two Living Medal of Honor Recipients Marine Dakota Meyer, and Army Cpt. Will Swenson, during a high profile military tragedy known as the Ganjgal Ambush, on September 8, 2009, in the Kunar Province, Afghanistan.
The tragic loss of Susan's son and his Embedded Marine Training Team raised more questions than answers. Through the journey of a Mother's undying love, Susan transformed her pain and sorrow into Truth searching for the light of Justice.
Through her determination and diligence of nearly 15 years connecting the dots, factual documentation, eyewitness accounts, and more, emerged a backstory to the crimes that took place on the battlefield that fateful and tragic day of September 8th, 2009. Susan is also known as a Veterans Advocate and a National voice.
She has appeared on 60 Minutes and other national media as well as Patriot radio and podcasts. Having worked with various Veteran and Gold Star Communities, physically as well as Media connected she has been sought out by many as the “the Gold Star Mother with a voice” – and “go-to person.”
