New York Giants offensive lineman Evan Neal will look to fight his way toward a roster spot throughout the remainder of training camp in West Virginia.
Neal has been nothing short of a disappointment over the first three seasons of his career in New York. Originally selected by the Giants with the seventh overall pick in the 2022 NFL draft, he was a standout throughout his time at Alabama.
Neal appears to be struggling in the early stages of training camp, as The Athletic’s Dan Duggan reported that he has been “glued” to the third team at right guard.
Neal will face an uphill battle for the rest of training camp. He could still prove to be a solid backup option if he makes the roster, but his struggles over the first three seasons may have finally caught up to him.
