Indianapolis Colts’ left guard Quenton Nelson came in at No. 99 in the NFL’s top 100 player rankings for the 2026 season.
Running back Jonathan Taylor then shared his thoughts on Nelson’s landing spot, which he believes is far too low on this list.
For years now, Nelson has established himself as one of the top guards in the NFL. Entering the final year of his deal, he could be on his way to being the highest-paid guard in the league next season.
According to Jake Arthur of Roundtable Sports, as good as Nelson has been in his career, this is only the fourth time he’s made the top 100 list, and it’s somehow his first appearance since 2022.
Taylor rushed for 1,585 yards last season and 18 rushing touchdowns. According to PFF, 443 of those yards and five of those touchdowns came when running in Nelson’s direction.
Among all guards this season, Nelson ranked fourth in Pro Football Focus’ pass-blocking efficiency and fourth in run-blocking grade. He is an eight-time Pro Bowler and has made six All-Pro teams in his career.
