SOUTH BEND — The city’s annual Pride in the Park event kicked off at noon Saturday, June 20, at Potawatomi Park.
Within half an hour, the celebration had drawn roughly 500-1,000 people, based on Tribune visual estimates of attendees and parked cars. The event features live music at the park’s Chris Wilson Pavilion, local craft artists and food vendors, and it lasts through 6 p.m.
Pride in the Park is presented by The LGBTQ Center.
