Iowa men’s wrestling has its Big Ten dual opponents lined up for the 2026-27 season.
The Big Ten conference released dual opponents on Thursday, June 18, with four home dates and four road duals scheduled for each team. The Hawkeyes will host Michigan State, Nebraska, Northwestern and Ohio State, with road duals against Illinois, Penn State, Rutgers and Wisconsin.
Dates and times for each event will be announced at a later date.
One notable absence from the Hawkeyes’ list of dual opponents is rival Minnesota. If the two programs do not schedule a dual outside of the conference slate, it would be the first time since the 1982-93 season that the two programs will not meet. A complete schedule for Iowa will be released once finalized, which typically comes in the fall.
Iowa is coming off an abysmal dual season by the program’s high standards, going 12-6 and 5-3 in the Big Ten. The Hawkeyes will look to build off an inspiring 2026 NCAA Championships, where they rallied back from a tumultuous regular season to place fourth with seven NCAA All-Americans.
