Between now and training camp, we will be going through the Indianapolis Colts’ full 90-man roster, previewing each player.
Up next is kicker Spencer Shrader, who wears No. 3.

Recapping Spencer Shrader’s 2025 season
Shrader would unfortunately suffer a season-ending ACL injury early in the year after he was run into on a field goal attempt. Before the injury, he was 14-for-14 on extra points and 13-of-14 on field goals, which included hitting a game-winner against Denver.
Looking ahead to 2026 for Spencer Shrader
Just as Shrader had to compete for the kicking job last summer, he will have to do the same once again this year, this time with Blake Grupe.
Grupe joined the team in Week 14 and was a perfect 10-for-10 on field goal attempts and 11-for-11 on extra points, according to PFF. The Colts then re-signed him earlier this offseason.
What takes place in minicamp won’t solely determine the kicking competition, but Grupe may head into training camp with the early advantage.
