Southern California Edison reported two power outages affecting thousands of customers in south Palm Springs the evening of Wednesday, June 3.
At around 5:21 p.m., the power company said on its website “trees in equipment” had impacted 84 customers near the intersection of South Camino Real and Sierra Way.
Nearby, a far larger outage was also reported.
At 6:43 p.m., an outage effecting 3,534 customers had been reported on South Toledo Avenue. As of 7:45 p.m., the cause of the outage had not yet been determined.
SoCal Edison said most customers had restored power by 7:45 p.m.
