The “GOAT” himself had some words to say following Seminole Ridge’s flag football state championship victory.
A year after six-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady took time to congratulate the Hawks for winning the 2025 state title, he did so again, sending the team a celebratory video after their second-straight Class 3A state championship win.
Seminole Ridge was ranked the No. 1 flag football team in the nation this year, a mark that was earned through a 20-2 record that included a nine-game win streak through the end of the season.
“Congratulations to the Hawks,” Brady says. “Winning back-to-back state championships is no joke. It takes a lot of hard work and a lot of commitment. You guys obviously have a lot of great connection, all of you guys.”
Brady is certainly one to know the challenges of winning two straight championships, being one of the only NFL quarterbacks in history to win back-to-back Super Bowls.
Now, he has one more challenge to offer Seminole Ridge — something even he never accomplished in is 23-year career.
“The only thing I’ll say is, ‘We’ve got to run it back in 2027,'” Brady said. ‘Make it a three-peat. I’m cheering for you guys. Let’s go.”
