Publix wants to take the heat out of a summer favorite with something new: Smokehouse Marinated Pork Belly for Burnt Ends.
The burnt ends “deliver the bold, slow-smoked flavor people expect from burnt ends, without the need for a smoker or long cook time. It’s fully marinated and oven-ready,” Publix announced in a news release.

Publix expanding in Florida
After already opening new stores just this year in St. Augustine, Clearwater, St. Petersburg, Winter Haven, Spring Hill, and Palm Beach Gardens, Publix Supermarkets has several more opening soon in Florida.
More store openings are planned for Fort Lauderdale on June 4, Bradenton on June 11, and Winter Haven on June 18.
