3rd Annual Upper Peninsula Writer’s Symposium set for June 13

The 3rd Annual Upper Peninsula Writer’s Symposium will take place at the Hessel School House with a full day of workshops and community for regional writers.

According to the event announcement, the cost to register is $75 per person and includes attendance at the keynote address, three breakout sessions, lunch and snacks throughout the day. The symposium is open to writers of any genre and is designed as a “a welcoming space to learn, connect and leave with renewed creative energy.”

Karen Dionne, bestselling author of “The Marsh King’s Daughter” will present the keynote session. 

Attendees will also choose from among the following breakout sessions, based on time slots and interest:  

The symposium takes places from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 13.
