If you are a fan or a “Belieber” of singer Justin Bieber or just a fan of classic Cadillacs, then this auction might be for you.
The 1968 Cadillac Coupe Deville showcased in Bieber’s music video for his 2021 song “Peaches” is currently up for auction in Woodland Hills, California, by Hemmings. While this Cadillac doesn’t belong to Bieber, the car being a key part of his music video with 865 million views on YouTube will make it a collector car.
About this Cadillac
Underneath the hood is a 472 cubic-inch V8 engine packed with 375 horsepower. It’s believed to be the car’s original engine. It also carries a Turbo Hydra-Matic 400 transmission and an 8-ball shift knob. The original paint job was Grecian White but repainted in black to go along with the red vinyl interior.
While many parts of this car are stock or restored to resemble the original Coupe Deville, this car also has some modern modifications. It has a custom sound system and the old radio was replaced and can now connect to Bluetooth. The car also has an electronic four-corner air ride system and pressure gauges have added for the suspension
As great as this car is, it could still use some extra work. There is a crack on the dash pad, the paint on the steering wheel is fading and the tires seem to have a lot of wear and tear.
What other cars does Justin Bieber drive?
Bieber has been seen in various interesting cars in his videos. Other cars making appearances include a 1968 Dodge Charger, 1976 Chevrolet Camaro, Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow and a Fisker Karma.
His personal car collection is also unique. He’s been seen driving a Lamborghini Aventador S, Mercedes-G-Wagon, a customized Rolls-Rolls Wraith and a leopard print Audi R8.
How much will the car sell for?
The auction began on May 29 and will end on June 5. The bidding started at $34,000. Proceeds from this auction will go to a breast cancer awareness group. For more information about this auction, you can visit hemmings.com.
