The NFL offseason is rolling on, as most teams are in the middle of their organized team activities and some are even ready to start their mandatory minicamps.
While this is an exciting time for all teams, it can also be nerve-racking, as this is when we start to see players suffering injuries. This happened with the New York Giants last week, as wide receiver Gunner Olszewski suffered a torn Achilles during OTAs.
As the Giants try to fill that spot in the wide receiver room, they’re hosting a trio of veteran wideouts for workouts on Monday, including a pair of former Miami Dolphins – Odell Beckham Jr. and Braxton Berrios.
Beckham, 33, entered the league with the Giants in 2014. He spent five years in New York, three with the Cleveland Browns, one with the Los Angeles Rams, one with the Baltimore Ravens and one with the Dolphins. In his lone year with Miami, he appeared in nine games and caught nine passes for 55 yards/
Berrios, 30, was a sixth-round pick of the New England Patriots in 2018. After one season in New England, he spent four with the New York Jets, two in Miami and one with the Houston Texans. In two years with the Dolphins, he appeared in 22 games and caught 27 passes for 238 yards and a touchdown while returning kicks and punts.
