Odell Beckham Jr. wants Giants reunion, has 'unfinished' business

Odell Beckham Jr. has expressed a strong desire to return to the New York Giants, stating he left “things unfinished” during his initial tenure with the team.

The 33-year-old veteran, who last played in the NFL in 2024 with the Miami Dolphins, spoke candidly at Brian Burns’ charity softball event over the weekend.

“It’s a place I never wanted to leave,” Beckham told the New York Post. “Just being able to spend that time away made me realize some things — I left some things unfinished.”

When asked about his ability to contribute, he added, “I guess we gon’ find out soon.”

The Giants, dealing with significant injuries including a torn Achilles to Gunner Olszewski, a recovering Malik Nabers (torn ACL), and Darius Slayton (sports hernia surgery), are holding a wide receiver workout on Monday. Beckham is among those participating, building on his April visit with the team.

Linebacker Brian Burns welcomed the possibility, saying it “would be great to have him in the locker room.” With ongoing contact from coach John Harbaugh and general manager Joe Schoen, reports suggest the reunion now sits at roughly 50/50 odds, likely on a veteran minimum deal.

A return would bring veteran leadership and experience to a depleted receiving corps as the Giants prepare for the upcoming season.
